Batana procession and dinner at spacio

In the evening join the batana procession with lanterns. It starts from a small pier near the main square and continues along the beautiful old town to the local tavern Spacio Matika in Švalbina Street with sea entrance. Batana procession is accompanied by evocative music of Rovinj folk group Batana or Bitinaduri of the Cultural Society "Marco Garbin". A traditional dinner with fish specialties will be served at Spacio Matika.

Evenings at Baluota

In the town centre, below the church of St. Euphemia, lies a beach Baluota, a venue where numerous romantic concerts take place during the summer months. Bathing in the sea at night is particularly attractive and enabled by the special lighting of the rocks in the sea, giving this charming beach at the foot of the town’s patron saint, even more romantic appearance.

The night of St. Lawrence

A cultural and entertainment event, which aims to highlight the romantic spirit of Rovinj. It is held on one August night when the phenomenon of shooting stars is most visible. On the night of the event, concerts of romantic and sensual music are organized on several stages around the town. This event is also special because on this occasion the public lights are turned off and the town is illuminated by torches and terraces along the town's waterfront with candlelight.
